Format and scope
Guests can come from business, culture, sport, technology and public life. The common requirement is a substantial body of experience and a willingness to examine how the work, the decisions and the person have developed over time.
The conversation can move through leadership, ambition, creativity, judgment, relationships, failure, identity and the practical details behind visible results. Each episode is allowed to find the subjects that matter for that particular guest.
Research before recording
Each conversation is prepared from the guest’s history, public work and the decisions that shaped it. The research creates a starting map while leaving room for the unexpected detail that changes the direction of the conversation.
Selected moments can later become short video and audio pieces, articles and references for future conversations. The full episode remains the primary work.
